Through the Strategic Industries Workforce Development Grant (SIWDG), students receive free tuition to pursue a certificate or diploma in 12 high-demand industries, where there are more jobs than workers in Georgia.  Click here for additional information.

  • SIWDG is available to students who qualify for the HOPE grant
  • Goal is to train students to work in one of the many industries, identified by the Governor’s High Demand Career Initiative, having more jobs available in Georgia than trained workers to fill them
